Virtual Hands

Prototyping for touch interactions in VR can be really hard; it requires technical skills and access to expensive software. We're excited to release a set of Virtual Hands you can use in your storyboards to help you start designing for touch interactions in VR. We use these to create concept mocks and user flows using familiar design tools, like Sketch or Photoshop, before jumping into Unity for interaction design.

You can download them for free here.

We’re still in the early days of designing for hands in VR. As we make progress in this journey, our design process also evolves and improves. We're looking forward to updating www.facebook.design/vr as we find better and more efficient ways to design for VR.
