Stretta Craft Beer

Excited to finally upload this to Dribbble... a label I designed for one of Malta's first craft beers. Stretta is named after Strada Stretta, a narrow street in Valletta, Malta's capital. Nicknamed 'The Gut', the street was notorious for drunken debauchery caused by sailors and servicemen of the Royal Navy, who were based on the island at the time. Strada Stretta was full of bars, restaurants, brothels and music venues... the signs of which are still visible in the street today.

My illustration for the label shows a battleship sailing out of Malta's Grand Harbour, leaving the memories behind in Strada Stretta.
