The Rock Church

It's been a while since I was drafted so I am long overdue to post some work. I contemplated for a bit about what to post first as my first shot. So I decided to post this icon mark from a bigger branding project I am doing for my church. My salvation means a lot to me, so it's only fitting that I give Jesus my first post.

The two outer rings symbolize unity within the community and how we are all called to be disciples of His gospel. Working together.

The simplistic mountain range is intended to be a stylistic crown in form, with the double peaks symbolizing God and Jesus at his right hand. The single peak stands for Us, his people. For He goes before us and He is the our rock of our salvation.

The cross in the center puts Jesus at the center of everything we do. He is Lord, King of all.

The two bars at the base complete the mark by symbolizing that it is finished, death was defeated. Through Jesus Christ, we have eternal life.

"You are complete in Him." - Colossians 2:10
