About Origins:
I called this year's theme 'Origins' for various reasons...from the way I began the geometries of the composition, to using old photos to celebrate the past…to using one of my favourite forms of art (collages)—a method that has evolved so much over time, but the work is still silly and playful as I have always intended them to be. ‘Origins’ is a tribute to the past.
