Xray Fred

A gif i made for my new website/portfolio.

I used an old mesh I 3D scanned a while ago, decimated it repeatedly and overlayed it on a stylised black/white render. I edited the materials and lighting to give my head a plastic sheen to look like a child's toy. The simplified mesh blends with the monochromatic image blurring digital with physical. I added cartoon John Carpenter-esque eyes to show my obsession with cult B-movie aesthetics.
