Game 69 / Check out the whole project here

Game Highlights:
Another night, another record. 26 wins in one season on home ice. All are stepping stones.

-Let’s just take a moment real quick to note how the CBJ is gellin like a felon. Every player seems to have a purpose, a drive and a general awareness that we are a team that needs to work together and lift each other up. It’s beautiful and I have enjoyed watching every game of this season so far.

-Columbus has won 6 times in 8 games and is really taking their Metropolitan division seriously in play.

-The Panthers made the first move when they pelted a series of shots at Bob that ultimately caught him off balance and led to one flying right over his sprawled out body.

-But shout out to our young guns tonight. In the second period Werenski scored on Reimer and 3.5 mins later Anderson finished off a shot started by Jack Johnson on the Blue Line.

-With no additional goals in the 3rd, the Jackets earned their 26th home win at Nationwide, a new franchise record. I am willing to bet whoever is in the streamer business in Columbus is also making some sales records of their own.

-In a show of respect, Jeff Rimer (our play-by-play announcer) was honored before play began for his achievement of calling 2,000 NHL games. Rimer is truly a gem, and I love listening to him and Jody Shelley spar back and forth during games. Fun fact: he was also a childhood friend of CBJ president of hockey operations, John Davidson.
