Spartan Race Logo Redesign Challenge

I took a break from crying over emo music and missing the 90's to participate in an exciting little challenge to redesign the logo for the Spartan Race. I had a lot of fun experimenting with various symbols and the customization of type. My concept focuses on joining a spear with a spartan helmet. Although in retrospect, I can't help but see traces of a piranha plant from old-school Mario or an angry lawn gnome. #nerdlyfe #justsaying
