Cassette Bookmark Animation

Here's a closeup of the interaction I designed for bookmarking with Cassette (http://cassette.design). Bookmarks offer users a quick way to save a moment from a conversation for later, and they're a great tool for tracking down quotes.

I designed this after we found that users needed more visual feedback to trust that a moment was saved. Cassette is built to empower people to focus more on their conversations, and less on taking notes. Thus the goal was to make an interaction bold enough to be seen in a quick glance or with peripheral vision.
