Flytoget background gradient transitions

Flytoget, the Airport Express Train, is a Norwegian high- speed airport rail link connecting Oslo Airport to Oslo Central Station so anyone riding it is either on their way to a flight or has just landed.

So we wanted to bridge the experience by creating a background gradient that reflects the view looking out of an airplane window. For this we created three different gradients that change from dusk to day and night - depending on time of day of course.

Sunrise and sunsets are locally calculated based on location information to be as exact as possible.
