Gender-Neutral Restroom Icons
March 2017 — I designed these gender-neutral restroom icons for a personal side project.
I'm frustrated with the current landscape of restroom signage symbols, especially for gender-neutral/all-gender/single-use restrooms. Many restrooms in CA simply use a triangle in signage. On the other end of the spectrum is the dreaded half man, half woman icon. I think the best solution is iconography that shows toilets, urinals, sinks, etc.
