Computer Vision Field Guide

I like to travel, and often go on trips that get me out into the natural world. There aren’t many rhinos or bamboo forests in New England, so naturally, I’m fascinated by these things when I stumble upon them. Computer vision (https://cloud.google.com/vision/) has advanced to a point where it is almost possible for a computer to identify the species of a plant or animal in a photo. With this concept app, you could take a picture of whatever is in front of you, find out what it is, and dive into a conversational learning experience that tells you more about the species.

It's like a Pokedex, in real life!
