Totus Tuus

Logo design for the Totus Tuus Worship Ministry from El Salvador, Central America. Was commissioned to come up with two approaches, aiming to the youth Catholic Church as main target.

The worship project is based on the act of Consecration to Mary, as a catholic lifestyle, developed and promoted by St. Louis Marie Grignion de Montfort. This, in turn, finds it’s expression through the Totus Tuus prayer, which in latin means “totally yours”, written by St. Maximilian Kolbe and recited by St. John Paul II as pontifical motto.

According to the previous context, we developed the concept design for both mark design approaches. About the colour palette, it was defined from to the early image of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, which focuses on the primary colours red, blue and yellow.

About the first one, it represents the yout's heart consecration, in the search for holiness. Second proposal was developed under the approach of living and loving through the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
