Bolste Projects Sidebar - Open

Working on a sidebar which will expand and collapse based on the user's preference. The user will be able to customize the menu display options. I'm trying to solve the problem of showing the user project activity while in a project without going back to the projects page. I'll send comps of the grey box area later. Focusing on design and animation of sidebar. Any thoughts? Thanks.
