There are lots of ways to draw on the iPad. I enjoy Procreate for emulating real-life mediums, and Adobe Draw for drawing vector art and type, but nothing beats Paper for concept sketching. It has simple, powerful tools and otherwise just stays out of the way. It keeps me from getting hung up on details, but has enough options that I can capture whatever level of detail the concept or thought requires.
