Hermann-Grima House

Hermann-Grima House. 820 St. Louis Street, New Orleans Louisiana. Opened in 1831.

This historic house, now museum, opened in the French Quarter of New Orleans in 1831. This Federal-style mansion features the only extant horse stable and 1830's open-hearth kitchen in the French Quarter.

The house was renovated and restored in 1975, after serving as a women's rooming house since the 1920's, to its original state and is now run by The Women's Exchange as a museum.
