"The Rules Hate Me" Poster

How can you have a voice in a low tolerance society? How do you breathe within so many rules and restrictions?
“The Rules Hate Me” is about finding playfulness in a strong geometrical pattern to design a Latin typeface. The grid for this typeface is the base of complicated Islamic patterns. This typeface is designed to describe how it feels to follow the rules and still break the rules, how to accept the restrictions and be as an autonomous individual.
