Darren expanded my music category horizons into a wild and truly bizarre territory of synthesized, syncopated vapor pop (if that’s what you want to even call it - genres always trip me up). To say this album is hyperactive is an understatement, but Darren Keen made me feel the same way I felt when I listened to metal for the first time - “wtf is this, this is insane, and why do I love it so much?”
