Inkwell Lockups

Creating quirky badges, fictional logos and multi-style lockups during the type design process is one of my favorite ways to test the flexibility & usability of my fonts. I always find something about the type that I didn't know before – like how fabulously unusable all caps Blackletter is!

I don't live in Bushwick, but it's a cool word. Ma's doesn't exist, but it should. The bottom right illo is a shout out to my friend Dan Rhatigan who prooobably has the coolest t-shirt on the planet. Last Inkwell shot I promise.
