Sleep Running

Hang around till the end of the animation to check out the initial wire frames done in after effects. I traced over them in photoshop and drew this doggo frame by frame. Photoshop has a great extension called the animators toolbar that provides a lot of useful shortcuts. It has not yet been updated to run on the newest version of photoshop so you’ll have to be running CC 17 if you want to use it.
