Uninstaller Utility for Mac

In 2016, I worked with a talented macOS engineer to come up with a new approach for a modern uninstaller utility on the Mac.

In order to appeal to the everyday Mac user (and depart from the traditional dense, power-user interfaces of traditional tools in this space), we approached the UI with a drastic simplicity, tapping in to the familiar card-swipe paradigm and focusing attention on a single app at a time.

This screen shows an app focused in the Trophy Case. We had a pretty sweet OpenGL spotlight particle effect on the focused app (we also has some sweet Force Touch and Magic Trackpad haptics sprinkled throughout). The Trophy Case contained a social component, allowing people to share and follow others’ collections.

This was one of my favourite projects to date (I have a penchant for designing native Mac apps), unfortunately, development was put on hold during the alpha-phase and the project has since been retired.
