Central System UI/UX

When the Creative Market team started building Creative Market Pro, it required us to shift core account settings and controls into a new third product — Central System.

Now, customers and shops can potentially edit their details and control their content for more than just one product. We needed to make it clear what they could do for Creative Market or Creative Market Pro, so we updated the visual styles of Central System features so that they bring both products closer together visually and are relatable for users coming from either product.

Ideally, I would have been able to hire and onboard a product designer in time to help with this work instead of doing it myself, but it wasn’t in the cards. So, I designed this work on a separate track alongside Noah as he took on the Creative Market Pro product.

You can get a sense of some of the features that moved from Creative Market to Central System from this shot's attachments (e.g. product editor, Pro opt-in page, Pro dashboard, email notifications, site-wide footer, etc.). A special thank you to over half the team (esp. the Marketplace product team) for all their hard work to help us build Central System.

I'll be writing more about this work on our Medium publication soon.

P.S. - We’re always looking for amazing people to join the Creative Market team. We value our culture as much as we value our mission. So if helping creators turn passion into opportunity sounds like something you’d love to do with a group of folks who feel the same way, then check out our job openings and apply!
