Drab Majesty

Drab Majesty played among psych rock, noise rock and new-wave/post-punk bands in the Levitation Fest showcase at SXSW.

They had a very commanding presence on stage at Hotel Vegas and was one of the more theatrical performances I’ve seen.

I ended up getting the lineup wrong, as the bands on this poster played in separate lineups across three stages. The intent of the poster still holds up, though. I aimed to capture the darkness and the glory. Giving form to the harmony between the drab and the divine. Sending transmissions to the masses and receiving cosmic influence.
