Linda Brown

When I found out that Linda Brown died recently, I wanted to create a badge for her. I remember reading about her when I was in school. While hers wasn't the only family fighting for their equal rights to education, her story is one of the most well known. The lawsuit Brown vs Board of Education lead to the abolishment of "separate but equal". She continued fighting and showing up long after school. In 1993 she help finalize the desegregation of her OWN children's school.
Her bravery and courage as a young girl made her a powerful and strong woman. She will be missed.
