Accordion Design Concept - D

Here I've explored removing the space in between each panel to reduce the amount of space the entire accordion takes up. Some early feedback was that the questions started to look like it was all together.

This visual approach is more common for mobile than it is on desktop screens but my end thoughts to this option is that it reduces affordance for the panels and therefore hinders on its usability.
