UNDERĂ˜ATH

The older I get, the more thankful I get for any opportunity I get to serve. When I was younger, I valued bringing "my" voice to the table at all costs. However, when @Brandon Rike asked if I'd design a website for UĂ˜, I quickly realized that the most honest thing I could do was to give the band the spotlight, provide the fans easy access to what they most care about, and highlight the visual work that Brandon and Joel at Tension Division created alongside the film work that Dan Newman had captured.

It's crazy to think back to 2004 (I was a senior in high school) when I discovered UĂ˜ and Dead Poetic (Brandon's old band). About a year or two later, Brandon and I met online while I was providing customer support at a website hosting company (I can only assume I saw him sign up for hosting, and I reached out to him like some ridiculous fanboy). Since then, Brandon has become a dear friend and someone with whom I can confide in when the challenges of work and family are heavy. I never would have guessed that a little over a decade later, I'd be working with UĂ˜ and Brandon, but here we are.

UĂ˜'s music has been instrumental to me in so many ways over the years, and I could not be more thrilled for them as they release their new album — ERASE ME. It's a threatenly beautiful album, and I really hope fans of old and new give this body of work the attention it absolutely deserves. It's fantastic.

Thanks for letting me play the smallest part in all this, Rike.
