Product Positioning Statement

When designing, I like to use a Product Positioning Statement to help steer design, keep the team focused, and defer any crazy requests that may come up. This can be a collaborative process with stakeholders and easy to complete (think Mad Libs).

For [Target End User] who wants/need [Compelling Reason to Buy].

[Product Name] is a [Product Category] that provides [Key Benefit].

Unlike [Main Competitor], [Product Name] [Key Differentiation].
