Alternative logo concept that I still love quite a bit. The logo option they chose is more of an abstract symbol. This one is pictorial based on the region where the company is located. The Driftless Area was never glaciated so it has a distinctive hilly terrain rich with oceanic fossils. There's some beautiful hiking to be had at Wildcat Mountain State Park, by the way.
