Here's an interaction I've been working on for a National Geographic Photo of the Day microsite concept.

I wanted to make sure the primary focus stayed on the incredible photography throughout the experience. The timeline at the bottom allows you to scroll or click through the most recent photos, and the gallery view let's you see photos on a month-to-month basis.
