Today’s experiment: raised spots! One of the first poms I ever made was a bacteria-lookin’ cactus-y thing that had yarn spines poking out of the spherical surface. Ever since, I’ve wanted to try making some nubby spots. After spending too much time last night watching YouTube videos about how to make the perfect cookie, I realized chocolate chips were the nubs I’ve been looking for. Pom spots are remarkably fun to excavate and trim around. (Sorry (not sorry) that these are basically all food floofs.)
