Ebay Mobile App - revised mobile seller experience

Currently, eBay doesn't do the best job at separating the buyer (shopper) and seller (non-shopper) mobile and desktop experiences. Auditing the app, one can find a high degree of cognitive load (also see Hick's Law - Cognitive dissonance) created by elements that are either redundant or shouldn't be what a seller sees due to their existing job stories (intent).

Some actions in the current experience triggers errors due to a lack of understanding or non-adherence to system heuristics as outlined by Ben Shneiderman and Jakob Nielson. The redesign also follows the advice of work from individuals such as Don Norman.
