Banksia Seeds + Cicada Skins
Interactions in nature can be fleeting, such small movements usually go unseen. But all these movements, however long or short, are part of the fabric of the Australian environment.
Wether in the bush or in the city, I wanted to capture these interactions. A quiet moment, with the potential to lead to something dramatic or perhaps the calm after the storm. This is a second of a story, and a story within itself. It's the moment a cicada shed it's previous life and fled the banksia tree.
