Save the Testes

I had testicular cancer almost four years ago now. Every year when Movember comes around here in the US, I try and make sure to donate to further fund research, or I find a way to raise some awareness and join in the conversation.

I think it's so important to help normalize some of the conversation surrounding testicular cancer especially, even though only 1 in 250 males will have it over the course of their lifetime.

The facts are still daunting that 50% of men will get some cancer over the course of their lifetime. It's not meant to scare you, just to shine a light on this horrible disease and that we can fight it.

And fear not, I can tell you with a high degree of certainty that a lot of cancer is very much preventable today. Between self-checks, screenings, and the rate with which our technology is advancing, we shouldn't and can't be afraid. We need to stare cancer down, and never give up the fight.

Anyway, this was an experimental type and texture poster, using a variety of techniques. I'm actually thinking about screen-printing a few of these (I've got the perfect paper and ink), so I'll have to see if I can get around to it. If I do, idk if people would actually want to "buy" these or just get them by donating, but I'd give it all back to research. We'll see what happens.
