As part of a case study on the events of the UK Miners Strike of 1984 to 1985 I explored how the miners and their families represented themselves and their views in a design context.
I found the hardships the families endured and the accusations of police brutality as a result of the strikes and the way they were managed both dignified and shocking.
As part of my output for the case study I made my own patch designed similar to the DIY aesthetic of the strikes.
