TEDx University Branding Design

I was honoured to be approached by the amazing people at TEDx and my university who wanted me to lead a small team of designers with the goal of creating a new brand identity for the event.

The theme of this TEDx was all about 'Innovate, Integrate and Educate'. My idea was to have each of those words embody one thing and the one thing they all lead to is "children". As its children who will in perpetuity, innovate, integrate and educate themselves. My pitch was to be playful with the brand, to have a symbol for different words that envoke the big three key words. It won over the various stakeholders, they loved the idea of playfulness and creation mixed with the traditional brand guidelines.
