Drag and Drop

New empty states illustrations are rolling out. Here I wanted to demonstrate our app-wide drag and drop on the Web and macOS. You can drag any files onto threads or messages to upload them as attachments to a new thread, comment or direct message.

The interface is quite simple. We add a 95% white overlay with a dotted line, the illustration and a generic “Drop to attach files”. We chose this short UX copy to ensure it works in all 18 languages that we offer in Twist.
