Daily UI // 006 // User Profile

This one started out as a slog for me because I really had no idea what I wanted to do. Started off with just some grey shapes to play around with the idea of where things should go (I thought about sketching it out first, but let's be honest, my sketchbook was in the other room and I was too lazy to get up and get it).

Figuring out how to make that curve at the bottom of the photo in Adobe Xd took me longer than it should have, but now that I know how I did it, the process should be much faster (I used the object path tools to quickly subtract and add shapes together, if there's a better way feel free to fill me in!)

Overall, I'm really happy with how this came up. I spent a little under 2 hours on it, maybe? I lost track of time because I started having fun with it started to really take shape. Decided to make a second version with my friends' real profile images because the Unsplash pics, while great, felt too commercial. Using more typical images kinda makes it feel more grounded and feasible as a real product.
