I wanted to portray Shazam merging within the surrounding sky to promote a god-like powerful presence, also incorporate his sheltering arms within the ground from beneath Billy to illustrate strength, support and protection. Billy is facing toward the horizon at the moment he would say “Shazam!” where lightning is approaching with speed in the iconic symbol itself.
