In Progress—Woodcut Type

First round of a phrase that will either be laser cut or painted onto a wooden sign. "Creative Minds" and "1794" are hand-lettered. Ornaments and decor around the lettering are rough and will still be refined. I'd like all linework to share common widths and weights if possible.

The spirit of this phrase and lettering style pays homage to my community's major riverfront development project, and honors our city's rich heritage, culture, and traditions. Fort Wayne was built on the confluence of three rivers. The message is on behalf of my agency, so I wrote the headline to represent the confluence of our rivers and our creativity as a community growing in the arts.
