Follow What's Working

Trying new things has shown me what I like doing and what I should focus on. By going off the deep-end and discovering the unknown, it has helped me redefine my goals. “Follow what’s working”, stands for realising what you want to do in life and in business.

For last week’s #HOMwork Lauren Hom asked us to reflect on the past 6 months and refocus our goals for the following 6 months. I realised that some things I was trying out, were better left as a hobby and I should return what was already working. I really enjoy making online classes and teaching students about animation, how to get a job in the design industry and creating motion graphics templates. After a few months of exploring other design avenues, I will “follow what’s working” and put my energy back into teaching, coaching and animating. What are your goals for the next 6 months, let me know in the comments!

I came up with this design for the hand lettering as part of day 28 of Jay Roeder’s #100daysoflettering challenge, where we were asked to create a free-hand cursive design. Are you into lettering? Let me know how it’s going for you!
