Branding Campaign for YBCBD

Yerba Buena, or "good herb", referring to the aromatic plant that grew abundant in the area, was the name settlers gave this city before it was officially named San Francisco. These days, Yerba Buena is the neighborhood from 5th St to 2nd St, and Market to Harrison. This district is home to some of the greatest museums and coolest experiences in the San Francisco Bay Area.

I had the privilege of creating this branding campaign for the Yerba Buena Community Benefit District (YBCBD), called Colorful to the Core, through my job at Creative:MINT. It was so fun conceptualizing, illustrating, and designing this series! The idea behind this concept is that within all these unsuspecting monochromatic buildings you'll find a wide spectrum of culture, vibrancy, and excitement. This isn’t your traditional postcard San Francisco; Yerba Buena is San Francisco TODAY.

I am super excited to have my work hung up around San Francisco; it's a huge milestone for me as a designer. Have you seen any of my road banners around the city?
