Champions League Group Stage Day 4 - Recap Design

The Champions League Group Stage on Day 4 was still as dramatic as ever.

Liverpool took a 3-0 lead over Red Bull Salzburg, but lost their 3-0 advantage in the 2nd half as Red Bull came climbing back. A comeback of their own and against Liverpool who normally are the ones doing it themselves. But Mo Salah was on had to score the winning goal and save Liverpool from an embarrassing draw from a seemingly comfortable position.

Quincy Promes was on hand to score again in the Champions League for Ajax as they ran out 3-0 winners. Last years surprise team are yet again making light work of the champions league having lost their two most valuable players.

Memphis Depay scored for Lyon as they won 2-0. They now sit joint top along side Zenit in their group, so still all to play for.

A Luis Suarez double and a Lionel Messi masterclass saved Barcelona from an embarrassing start to the season. Messi yet again is the spark for a Barcelona side not clicking as of yet both in the league and the champions league. Suarez scored his first goals of the season so hopefully this can kick start his season and help Barcelona win more games.
