Autumn Aesthetic

Feeling that Autumn aesthetic this crisp October day! Hold on, because we’re about to go deep in a pile of leaves here with some serious introspection.
Echoing to a post back in August, where we talked about the value of our concepts. Building upon that idea is the origin of our inspirations. Before we can “sketch it to death”, we have to find the inspiration that becomes the concept. Everyone has their own recipe for this, but essentially it comes down to conditioning our minds to perceive everyday things slightly differently. What that looks like to you might be different for someone else. For example, maybe you find your inspiration by going junk’n like Aaron Draplin and reimagining some old trinket you find, or maybe your inspiration comes by being surrounded by nature.
My challenge for you is to practice shifting your perception of the seemingly ordinary. This is the point where inspiration takes place and you may just find your next “great idea”!
