US - Mocktober 2019

It’s that time of year when things get spooky with the Elegant Seagulls Mocktober competition.

This year I chose to create a home page based on the movie “US” by the infamous Jordan Peele. The movie is incredibly conceptual, and the eerie art direction lends itself to a uniquely brilliant psychological thriller. It was one of those movies that not only made me think, but instantly made me curious to the point where I spent hours reading up on the concept of it all. I can't say that for many movies.

Additionally, this also kicks off the first of many side projects from the D Custom team. We’re making a point internally to really stay sharp visually by allowing ourselves to truly experiment and take concepts as far as we can. Follow along for more to come.
