Element Gijinka - Bismuth

Meet Bismuth! Perhaps due to her weak and brittle physical stature, Bismuth was often bullied in Element School. The popular girls with their magnetic personalities were especially mean to her. They called her a dork for wearing a clunky suit to protect her fragile body. She had once tried to make friends, but her lack of warmth instantly repulsed her peers. It didn’t help that people often confused her with Arsenic, Antimony and Lead—her more popular sisters. Thankfully, puberty doesn’t last forever. She grew up and became an astronaut rocking rainbow hue hair.

My gijinka illustration take on the element Bismuth for our art and science group.

(Gijinka [擬人化] is a Japanese term that roughly translates into “Humanization.” It's also known as anthropomorphism, which is when people take non-human creatures, objects, and various other things and re-imagine them as human beings.)

P.S.: I'm (still) selling prints of these babies! Hit me up a DM or you may order directly from my page http://fb.com/TheOrigamiRobotDesignCo
