Patchwork Pine

At first, an all-triangle illustration seemed like an odd request, but when the client pulled a family Christmas quilt out as reference, I too was hooked. Like the quilt, the pattern jostles and some colors are more dominant (because there was only so much of a certain color fabric at the time of the quilt's construction). I tried to bring some of that wonderful imperfection into the digital world as well. There's much more to this interesting piece, which I hope to be able to share in the future!
