Twitch Dropdown Menu Pattern

A little overview of the various DropdownMenu components that work together to assemble our DropdownMenu pattern in our design system at Twitch.

Being a video platform, a lot of our components have to work on top of unpredictable background colors (video). For that, we've developed what we call our Overlay Context.

The Overlay Context allows our designers to specify regions in their interface to trigger our components to display unique style opinions independent of the users selected theme. This allows us to retain accessible contrast ratios when our components overlaid over unpredictable backgrounds.

Also, I'm pretty excited for Patapon 2 Remastered tomorrow!
