Saw the prompt today and had to take a pass at it. Click through to see the process.

1. Jotted down my idea on some notes I had in front of me for a UI project.
2. Mapped out the pennant in Ai, took a screenshot and then altered the number and letters in Ps.
3. Illustrated the pennant and applied some color.
4. Darkened the color and added an opaque drop shadow.
5. Added a few more effects, texture and flag warp to finish things off (first image).
