Architecture Art: Messner Mountain Museum

"I call architecture frozen music," Johann Wolfgang von Goethe said, and that's the mood we want to share with our new set of bright and artistic illustrations devoted to the beauty and diversity of architecture. This artwork features the Messner Mountain Museum, a museum project created in 2006 by Italian mountaineer and extreme climber Reinhold Messner in South Tyrol in northern Italy. Messner's museum project is designed to educate visitors on "man's encounter with mountains" and deals with the science of mountains and glaciers, the history of mountaineering and rock climbing, the history of mythical mountains, and the history of mountain-dwelling people. Stay tuned to see more!
