I made a project inspired by the story of a transgender woman on the path to overcoming doubts & discrimination and accepting her new identity.

I was trying to describe with my illustrations the emotions and feelings which can be experienced by someone struggling with deep doubts and fears, and how a person can finally find peace within oneself.

Acceptance of LGBTQ is still a big issue in my home country, Kazakhstan, and wish I can help to raise awareness and bring the light on the struggles transgender people experience here, for hopefully a brighter future! 🏳️‍🌈
