Yellow Cake Cream Ale

I'm so excited to share this beer label design I got to work on. Thank you Oyster Creek Brewing for making wicked cool beers. Not only are the radioactive concepts and names fun to draw for, but the theme is every artist's dream to illustrate.

Hand lettering and illustration sketches for beer label.

Initial pencil sketches exploring different hand lettering and nuclear concepts. The name of the beer Yellow Cake Cream Ale, draws its inspiration from Uranium. While U is a chemical element I wanted to show it as a powder in relationship to the cake reference.

Illustration drawn digitally in Procreate on my iPad Pro. Lettering vectorized in Adobe Illustrator. Beer label layout and design in Adobe, can mock-up created in Photoshop.
